Job Title Janitorial SupervisorJob Description Summary ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Supervisor reports to the Senior Operation Manager and is responsible for the following activities under the direction and guidance of the Account Manager or Account Director: oResponsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings oCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Companyâ™s policies and applicable State and Federal laws oAssist in managing the overall activities of a project(s), and supervises the project crew oCoordinate services activities for assigned buildings oEnsure that services are performed as contracted and meet the customer specifications oMaintain/monitor work schedules of all shift personnel, including the preparation and submission of weekly payroll time sheets oEstablish/maintain work performance standards oConduct quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory as well as general use of equipment, including key controls oSnow removal services oResolve on-site services delivery problems oParticipate in on-going management/technical skills development training programs. Including safety and safety site committee oConduct orientation of new employees, develops employeesâ™ skills/abilities oConference room set ups and sometime internal moves as needed oMaintain effective on-going customer relations oPerform other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS oOne to three years of supervisory experience, and up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices/procedures oExcellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels oResponsible for assisting in the management of the site account.
