Posting Details Job ID: 126458 College/School: School of Continuing and Professional Studies Responsibilities: The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) at DePaul University is accepting applications from those interested in part-time opportunities to develop and teach courses in one or more of the following subjects in an online asynchronous format. Topics include: accounting and finance, professional ethics, professional communications, globalization issues, risk management, interdisciplinary liberal arts and experiential learning topics. A master's degree, Ph.D. or terminal degree in a related field and relevant experience is required. Experience teaching at the college level is desirable, but not required. SCPS serves adult, non-traditional students, and underserved populations, and provides flexible learning formats and scheduling to meet student needs. The school offers a variety of majors including Business Administration, Non-profit Management, and Leadership Studies. Students develop lifelong learning, writing, critical thinking, research and career development assessment and planning skills throughout their multi-disciplinary curriculum. Required Qualifications: To teach at the undergraduate level, a Master's degree is required in a related field to the subject area you wish to teach. To teach at the graduate level, a Doctorate or terminal degree is required in a related field. Special Instructions to Applicants: Part-time teaching opportunities are available including online, hybrid, and on-campus throughout the academic year. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs, demonstrated successful teaching experience, and appropriate, verified qualifications will be contacted for an interview. Academic course schedules fluctuate from quarter to quarter and the school will work with selected individuals to determine a quarterly schedule. Courses are not guaranteed; however, the school does its best to give ample notice about available courses and potential course cancellations.
