 University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: 40309 Salary: $28.78 - $59.34 Hourly Position Description: Job Summary Statement: Under the supervision of the Finance Director, the Finance Manager is responsible for a broad range of financial duties for the UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Institute (LPPI) and ensures that the Institute remains in compliance with University, extramural funding agencies policies and procedures for financial management. The Finance Manager is directly responsible for the financial administration of multi-million-dollar budgets of highly complex funds administered through the Institute's Projects/Programs. These funds include state funds, gifts and endowments, sales and service accounts and contract and grants. The Finance Manager will also prepare all relevant documentation and forms, monitor expenditures, maintain manual and computerized records, conduct periodic reviews and prepare budget projections, and collect monthly reports. They will assist in Pre & Post Award duties; organization of contract and grant proposal submission, including preparation of budget and justifications, review of submission, and liaising with central offices in finalizing awards and providing oversight and management through close-out.
