Manages laboratory and office renovation projects throughout the campus, from concept through design, construction, commissioning and close out. May on occasion be responsible for new capital projects. Consults with the internal client at the conceptual stage of major projects to evaluate site and cost considerations and advise on project viability. Develops the preliminary design, prepares the scope of work, cost estimations, contract negotiations, budget management and progress reporting. Maintains close working relationships with management, customers, and other professionals. May work under the direction of a senior-level Project Manager on larger projects.
