Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: 

The School of Education in the College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University seeks applicants for multiple part-time Lecturers. Responsibilities include teaching one undergraduate course(s) in Teacher Education at the elementary and secondary level. All potential teaching is on an "as needed basis". The appointment fraction and duration will depend upon the need.

Required Minimum Qualifications: 

- Master's degree in Education or closely related field

- One year of demonstrated successful teaching experience or comparable professional experience in an educational setting at the secondary level.

Preferred Qualifications: 

- Doctorate or ABD in Education or closely related field

- Additional years teaching experience in specific area at the secondary level

- Teaching experience at the college/university level

- Teaching courses in educational technology, foundations of education and methods of teaching
