Professional Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Facilities Director is a member of the Finance & Administration leadership team and reports to the Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration. The Facilities Director is expected to effectively lead and manage the campus Facilities Services department while creating a positive and supportive service-focused culture. The Facilities Director oversees long-range planning and management of facilities and is responsible for the maintenance, custodial, and grounds services on the Tri-Cities campus. The Facilities Director also provides strategic direction and leadership to the campus in areas such as energy efficiency, resource conservation, recycling, and campus accessibility. This position is directly involved with the university's capital budget process and works with the Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration on capital planning initiatives including new construction, renovations, minor capital requests, and other projects. A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may substitute for the education requirement.
