Position Summary:

• Serves as co-lead for all University fringe benefit accounting in conjunction with the University Budget Office and University Accounting
• Conducts a wide range of reviews, analyses, reconciliations, projections, and reporting of financial activities related to fringe benefit accounting.
• Collaborates with the University Budget Office, Research Financial Services, and University departments regarding fringe benefit information and compliance.
• Analyzes and compiles data for preparation of a variety of financial reports for use by senior management and other departments around the University.
• Key team member in preparation of fringe benefits & F&A proposal activities.
• Acts as lead liaison with the Office of Research for Research for service center/core facility rates review, monitoring, biennial reviews, and closings.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• A bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a directly related field.
• Five years professional experience working directly with financial data analysis, modeling and decision support, preferably in an academic environment.

• This position will use Microsoft Office Suite products on the office desktop.
• The position must fully utilize available reporting tools such as the University's financial data warehouse, the department's Tableau database, and third-parties databases and systems such as WebSpace and CRIS.
