WEI is looking for a HR Generalist who will be responsible for providing human resources information and resources with a focus on the areas of payroll and benefits. The HR Generalist will also assist with tasks and projects such as, but not limited to, I-9 verifications, visa processing, hiring students, data collection and analysis, life-cycle transactions, etc.
Responsibilities:
Provides human resources (HR) information and support to a work unit regarding more than one HR functional area to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing. Maintains personnel records and assists with work unit operational policy development.
25% Provides consultation, performs analytics, and/or maintains personnel files, communications, and materials for work unit through various mediums
20% Executes and audits work transactions and changes adhering to established policies and procedures to meet anticipated deadlines
20% Receives, responds to, and resolves employee questions and problems
10% Represents unit/program at institutional workshops, informational meetings, and training sessions
5% Contributes to the development, implementation, interpretation, and revision of work unit Human Resources policies and procedures according to institutional and legal rules and regulations
20% Prepares, organizes, disseminates, and processes payroll and benefit resources, communications, materials, and transactions under general supervision

Education:
Highly preferred Associate's Degree
Qualifications:
Required: - Minimum of one year working in an administrative support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work independently as well as demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience providing excellent customer service
Preferred: - Human Resources (specifically payroll and benefits) experience

Full or Part Time: 75% - 100%
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
The person in this position can expect to work at minimum three days per week at the onsite location, and have the flexibility to work up to two days per week at a remote location.
