Job Title Capital Markets Senior Financial AnalystJob Description Summary Cushman & Wakefieldâ™s Equity, Debt, and Structured Finance group (âœC&W EDSFâ) is a premier capital markets team providing solutions for complex transactions on behalf of institutional, corporate, and private investment clients offering a range of debt advisory services including construction, bridge and permanent financing throughout the capital stack including first mortgages, B-notes, mezzanine financings and preferred equity.Position Summary: The Capital Markets Senior Financial Analyst (âœCMFAâ) will support transactions generated by the C&W EDSF Atlanta team including debt financings for single assets, portfolios, and institutional-quality asset sales. During this process, the primary role of the CMFA will be to analyze the property and cash flows, evaluate historical performance and current market conditions, develop financial projections, interface with clients and capital sources, and develop investment memoranda for each transaction with oversight from senior members of the team. The ideal candidate will be based in Atlanta, Georgia and available to work on-site in a local Cushman & Wakefield office. Hybrid candidates will be considered. Team members may be expected to travel and work outside normal operating hours to meet project deadlines. Job Description Essential Duties: The specific responsibilities of the CMFA will include, but is not limited to: ·       Prepare complex and sophisticated financial and market analysis for EDSF opportunities ·       Author investment memorandums ·       Assist with marketing efforts to investors and lenders ·       Assist in marketing transactions and prepare pitch presentations ·       Support the transaction marketing efforts of team members by creating and maintaining tracking reports and other reports for both internal and client distribution ·       Perform continuous market research of the changing universe of lenders ·       Read, abstract, and analyze complex legal real estate related documentation including leases, term sheets, loan agreements, mortgage documents, partnership agreements, and financial statements for relevant financial information that will impact the real estate transaction ·       Prepare clear concise summary documentation and spreadsheets that support and explain the basis of the analyses for use in client presentations, proposals and/or reports ·       Demonstrates ability to communicate due diligence findings in a clear, compelling manner, answer clarifying questions, and make time, accurate revisions ·       Assist in the quality control effort to ensure that all client presentation materials are professional, accurate, high impact and reflect quality customary for institutional real estate ·       Create, analyze, and audit property, portfolio, and entity level cash flow Excel models ·       Gather market information through research and site tours for inclusion in financing memoranda ·       Other job duties as needed based on transaction assignment and team structure Required Skills / Qualifications: A successful candidate for the CMFA position will exhibit the following characteristics:  ·       Bachelorâ™s Degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc. ) preferred  ·      Combination of education without a degree and corporate work experience may be considered ·       2 to 4 years of real estate financial analysis and/or finance experience preferably with a commercial real estate firm engaged in consulting, appraisal, investing, lending, or brokerage ·      Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy ·       Ability to construct, apply and analyze complex financial models in Excel and ARGUS preferred ·       Strong written communication skills developing high-level analysis summaries ·       Passion for client delivery, with strong emphasis on producing high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and strong personal initiative to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment ·       Ability to function in a team-oriented setting while working independently with limited day-to-day supervision ·       Strong time management, organization, and interpersonal skills ·       Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and work in a high-volume, fast past transaction-oriented environment ·       Takes charge and is proactive in all aspects of role ·       Growth oriented mindset, desire to learn and shares knowledge to help others succeed ·       Ability to maintain attention to detail while working under tight deadlines ·       Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advance Excel skills preferred ·       Ability and willingness to travel and work long hours, including some weekends as needed Cushman & Wakefield provides equal employment opportunity.
