RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has two primary roles: • The Registrar role supports the Dean of Advising with student scheduling, academic records maintenance, and reports production. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of academic scheduling, advising, and records, and managing student report protocols. Overseeing all aspects of the diploma process, managing databases and building queries in Axiom, managing communications with students and staff regarding academic and scheduling needs, managing course enrollments for private music and dance lessons, supporting the Dean of Advising to build the master schedule, manage grade runs and eligibility lists for each grading period, posts grades and notifies the Community that report cards are published. Also, supports the Dean of Studies in the work of the ISAACS accreditation committee and the triannual review committee. • The Academic and College Advisor Role will partner with the Dean of Academic and College Advising, the Directors of Academic and College Advising, respectively, and other Academic Affairs Department members to support the organizational and department goals in delivering against Culver’s mission. They support approximately 65 students across all grade levels, 9 – 12, throughout their Culver academic experience as they explore potential academic and career interests and navigate college selection and application processes. Additionally, the role will assist in teaching weekly college advising classes, hosting workshops for parents, and attending Admissions Open Houses, Parents’ Weekend presentations, and other Culver gatherings as needed.
