GENERAL DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Director of Career Services, the Office and Marketing Coordinator performs a broad range of highly skilled, administrative and clerical work for Career Services, including coordinating marketing and communications. Duties and responsibilities are varied and may be confidential in nature. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Basic Qualification: Graduation from high school plus two or more years of college or business school equal to at least two years college, with courses in office administration and organizational procedures; or any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. Two - three years of increasingly responsible office-related experience, preferably in an academic institution. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The individual must possess knowledge, skills and ability to be able to successfully perform the essential functions of the position or be able to explain or demonstrate how the essential functions will be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Supervisory Responsibility: Yes, student employees, as needed Time Type: Full-time 40 hours per week Annual Pay Schedule: 12 Work Schedule: The regular hours for this position will be scheduled between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. These hours may vary due to needs of the College or department. Licenses/Certifications: Must have valid driver’s license and a driving record insurable under the College’s General Liability policy.
