Adjunct - FY24 Head Women's Softball Coach LOS ANGELES COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES PART-TIME POSITION HEAD WOMEN'S SOFTBALL COACH JOB DESCRIPTION Los Angeles Community College seeks a non-tenure track Head Softball Coach to manage and build the softball program and to teach fall and spring term classes: One intercollegiate athletics softball class and one softball fitness and skills class. LACCD is a member in good standing with the Western State Conference (WSC) and the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA). The successful candidate will report to the Director of Athletics and will be responsible for all aspects of planning, managing, and directing a successful community college softball program. Duties also include coaching, practicing and game preparation, recruiting, academic matriculation, placement, developing positive player-coach relationships, budget management, team travel, public relations, fund-raising, marketing, promotions, scheduling, rules compliance and other duties as assigned. The position is a part-time adjunct coaching assignment and continuation of the annually renewable position is contingent upon funding. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Eligibility Requirement: COVID 19 VACCINATION Pursuant to LACCD Board of Trustee's Policy 2900, all students and employees must be fully vaccinated or have an approved exemption. LACCD employees are required to provide their vaccination status in compliance with the LACCD Board of Trustees' policy. Newly hired employees will be required to provide their vaccination status prior to starting a position or, at the latest, by their position start date COMPENSATION This position is paid by a stipend in the amount of $17,900.
