 Purchasing Assistant (Blank Ast 3) SOM: Pediatrics Sacramento Campus Department Description The vision of the Department of Pediatrics is the healthiest future for all children and families with a mission dedicated to creating a healthy future for all children through outstanding patient care, transformative research, innovative medical education, and community-based advocacy. The department within the School of Medicine consists of 115 faculty and 125 staff. THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY Responsibilities This position oversees accounts payable and all departmental purchases, which total more than $2.5M a year. On average this position completes over 2,700 P-CARD transactions ($1M a year) and 300 employee reimbursements (over $150,000 a year). This position also assists with planning and coordinating key department events. Required Qualifications
