Posted Job Title Assistant Director of Communications and Outreach Job Profile Title Communications Specialist Senior Job Description Summary The Assistant Director of Communications and Outreach will provide proactive leadership in developing and implementing all communications and outreach strategies, policies, and practices across the Department of Genetics and the Autism Spectrum Program of Excellence. Reporting to the Penn Genetics Chief of Staff and the Director of ASPE, the Assistant Director will have the exciting opportunity to lead, promote, and steward the Department's and ASPE's mission, teaching, research, and outreach/engagement through a variety of media, publications, and specific public relations strategies. Qualifications .. Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Master's degree preferred. Experience or familiarity with faculty needs and concerns. One to two years of experience in creating and managing website content. Interest in developing web pages. Prior use of WordPress is preferred. Interest or experience in higher education Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $61,046.00 - $68,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
