Posted Job Title Penn Medicine Clinician (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology) Job Profile Title Penn Medicine Clinician Job Description Summary Provides health care services on a full-time basis in an owned or affiliated health care entities of Penn Medicine, in the tri-state region. Provides outpatient and possibly inpatient hospital services as required and fulfills all medico-administrative duties associated with membership on each hospital medical staff of which clinician is a member. May participate in a minimum of 50 hours per year of active and high quality teaching or equivalent service. Performs prompt, courteous and competent professional services in accordance with generally accepted professional standards for such services and with the standards established from time to time. Maintains license to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Job Description Successful candidate will join the established Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine with clinical programs based primarily at our network of satellite practices in New Jersey and also at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Candidates will participate in patient safety and quality initiatives. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required. Opportunities for resident and medical student teaching are available, but are not mandatory. The successful candidate will receive fully-covered malpractice insurance and practice in a supportive environment that provides professional and personal fulfillment and career-long learning. Qualifications Applicants must have an M.D, D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care for a minimum of 1 year. Candidate must be board certified/board eligible in Ob/Gyn and subspecialty trained and board certified/eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Candidate must maintain Pennsylvania medical and DEA licensure to practice medicine without restriction or limitation as well as maintain New Jersey medical licensure, and a NJ CDS and NJ DEA. Candidate must performs prompt, courteous and competent professional services in accordance with generally accepted professional standards for such services and with the standards established by the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Working Conditions Office, exam and consult rooms, computer/scan reading room; Requires extensive safety training; Requires protective devices Physical Effort Occasional lifting 10-15 lb.; Typically standing and sitting; may bend, crouch, Stoop Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Salary range is estimated between $350,000 to $550,000 Department / School Perelman School of Medicine Pay Range $20,000.00 - $550,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and the pay range assigned to the job profile.
