Description Walla Walla Community College is accepting applications to fill the part-time role of Nursing Assistant IBEST Instructor on the Walla Walla Campus. General Responsibilities: Provide instruction in basic education skills and support success and completion for students participating in the Nursing Assistant (NA) IBEST Program. IBEST programs are team-taught with at least a 50% overlap to help students advance in academic and technical skills concurrently. This position may also provide student support (i.e., study groups) to ensure student retention and successful completion of NA and related academic courses. Essential Responsibilities:

Conditions/Terms of Employment WWCC is no longer required to collect COVID -19 vaccine information, however, some hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions where WWCC Nursing faculty may conduct business in, may require the COVID-19 and other vaccinations. This is a part-time instruction assignment contingent on enrollment and located at the Walla Walla Campus. Persons hired must be able to provide acceptable documentation of lawful employment to work in the United States within three (3) days of employment and provide transcripts. Candidate may be subject to a criminal history background check as a condition for consideration of employment. The college is a tobacco free institution. Walla Walla Community College requires all employees to participate in direct deposit for payment of salary. Compensation: Compensation for adjunct instruction is contingent on enrollment and paid in accordance with the contract between the WWCC Board of Trustees and the WWCC Association for Higher Education. Placement on the faculty salary schedule will commensurate with the educational background and experience per the Faculty Negotiated Agreement (Download PDF reader).
