Reporting to the Director of Custom Programs within Wharton Online, the Associate Director of Custom Programs is responsible for implementing and managing custom online programs for Wharton Online learners around the world. This position is the primary delivery representative to Wharton Online custom clients and has direct responsibility for assuring the quality and delivery of the online courses and supporting custom client relationships. The Associate Director of Custom Programs works to incorporate UX design best practices prior to overseeing successful delivery and management of online courses. Additional tasks include: supporting the Director of Custom Programs and Director of Instructional Design and Content Strategy in conducting needs assessments to identify learning objectives; collaborating with Wharton Online technology team to support custom client security needs; understanding and managing elements of online platforms; organizing post-program debriefing and leading revision process based on client/learner feedback; supporting outbound business development strategy. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Salesforce proficiency is strongly desired as well as extensive knowledge of online education, client relationship management experience, executive education, and global business challenges facing today's corporations. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master's degree is preferred. 1-2 years' experience in classroom teaching (online and/or in person) is preferred. Experience in using Canvas preferred. Willingness to learn is required. Familiarity with instructional design principles helpful. Ability to work with a diverse set of individuals in a customer-facing situation required. Flexibility in scheduling and working hours required in order to support online courses which run 24/7. Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Wharton School Pay Range $51,824.00 - $78,250.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
