Associate Veterinarian
Rolling Hills Veterinary Service
Job description Rolling Hills Veterinary Service is seeking an enthusiastic new vet school graduate or experienced DVM to join our practice. We are looking for an additional full time or part time (25-50 hrs/week) associate for a busy four doctor practice at our new facility that was built in 2012 and expanded in 2021. Our amenities include on-site lab equipment, portable ultrasound, gas anesthesia, monitoring equipment, digital small animal, large animal and dental x-ray, endoscope, surgical laser and vehicle for large animal farm calls. We are a mixed practice Veterinary clinic treating both small and large animals including dogs, cats, horses, cattle, swine, goats, sheep, and camelids. RHVS is approximately 65% small animal and 35% large animal. We are located in Bethel, Ohio, just 40 minutes east of Cincinnati. We provide limited emergency services to our large animal clients. Emergencies are only seen until 10:00pm. Emergency on-call shifts are currently rotated between doctors. The new associate will also be added to this rotation to disperse shifts evenly. We highly encourage mentorships and frequently have students who shadow in the hospital and ride along with the doctors. New doctors will spend their first month with us riding along with senior veterinarians learning the ropes and then will gradually start seeing their own patients, with a senior veterinarian being a support at all times, day and night. We offer a benefits package including paid licensing fees, medical insurance, Simple IRA, and an allowance for continuing education. We offer in house daycare for our employees at a very affordable rate. We understand the stresses of finding daily childcare and hope this helps take some of that away.
