Responsibilities: Â 1. Financial Strategy and Planning: Â Â - Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Â Â - Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Â Â - Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and stakeholders. Â 2. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Â Â - Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and analysis of financial performance. Â Â - Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, including compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Â Â - Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making. Â 3. Risk Management and Compliance: Â Â - Develop and implement effective risk management policies and procedures. Â Â - Monitor and evaluate financial risks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Â Â - Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Â 4. Investor Relations: Â Â - Collaborate with the investor relations team to provide accurate and timely financial information to investors and stakeholders. Â Â - Participate in investor meetings and presentations, addressing financial inquiries and providing insights on financial performance. Â 5. Team Management: Â Â - Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring. Â Â - Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging professional development and growth within the team. Â Qualifications: Â - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable. - Minimum of 15 years of relevant finance experience, with a focus on real estate investment trusts (REITs) and experience working with developers. - Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. - Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred. - Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. - Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
