Management Accountant

Commercial Management Accountant | Investment Banking| Day rate £450-£500 (Umbrella) | 6 month Contract | London - Hybrid

A global Investment Bank is looking to hire a Management Accountant position within their London finance team.

Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in the annual budgeting/forecasting process
• Ensure correct input of Budget information into bank financial systems of the budget and forecast
• Run monthly process to prepare the global reports for meeting and add commentary to regions
• Liaise with the project office, HR and with the Central Finance Reporting team to ensure consistency of all
• Reconcile and control check Global PM figures with Local reporting P&L
• Review Balance Sheet Recs for areas
• Review Aged accruals to ensure timely receipt of invoices
• Provide the Global PM team with actual, budget and forecast commentaries for the departments under
• Perform SAP cost reviews for monthly closing
• Ad hoc assistance cross remit as required with the annual budget/forecast processes

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
• Knowledge of General Ledger systems - Essential (SAP)
• Systems such as Hyperion Essbase/ Oracle Smartview experience - Desirable
• Strong ability to interrogate, analyse and interpret data and produce variance analysis
• Time Management
• Intermediate MS Office skills including Excel and Powerpoint is essential
• Prior experience of cost accounting and preparation of management commentaries
