Position: Associate Director of Community Organizing Status: Full-time, exempt (40 hours per week) ABOUT CNVP The California Native Vote Project’s (CNVP) mission is justice and self-determination for Native American communities through multigenerational power building, organizing, and civic engagement. CNVP is the first-of-its-kind statewide effort to engage Native American communities across dozens of counties to build political power through an integrated voter engagement strategy, which centers community organizing, and braids on top of that other strategies to achieve people-powered movements — including political education, leadership development; voter education, registration and protections; policy advocacy; research; and Native candidate preparation. Position Overview The Associate Director of Organizing will assist in directing next phase of the CNVP’s organizing strategy. This position requires someone with significant political and/or community organizing, strategic campaign development, and supervisory experience. This role, in collaboration with senior leadership, will serve as a key decision maker in strategies for Southern California organizing and campaign work; leader on projects and initiatives; and represent CNVP at partner and coalition tables. This position will also build out organizing training and mentorship programs for both internal and external audiences. Essential Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications
Work Environment Hybrid in-person (two days a week or possibly more based on need) and virtual, with some evening and weekends required. Some travel is also required. Physical Demands
