Executive Director, Advancement Job #: 041237 Location Syracuse, NY Pay Range: $126,000 - $150,000 Hours: Standard University business hours 8:30am - 5:00pm (academic year) 8:00am - 4:30pm (summer) Hours may vary based on operational needs. Job Type: Full-time Job Description: This role oversees fundraising, engagement, and development activities for multiple distinct university priorities, including but not limited to the College of Professional Studies and Hendricks Chapel. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive advancement strategies to support the unique missions of these units, ensuring the cultivation and stewardship of donor relationships, and enhancing the visibility and impact of these programs. This position reports to the VP of Schools, Colleges, and Administration and has full accountability to the Deans of the respective units in relation to the specific work for those programs. They have front line responsibility for the identification, solicitation, and stewardship of a portfolio of major donors and prospective donors. This individual works closely and collaboratively with the Deans, associated faculty, other leadership, and central Advancement colleagues to achieve a high level of engagement and financial support from alumni, parents, friends, and organizations and is the primary contact for volunteer leadership boards associated with the programs. Key performance metrics include effective management of the advancement program, face to face visits, number and dollar value of solicitations, and meeting the programs' annual goals.
