Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon Position Overview: The salary range for this position is $505,000-$675,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UC Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for a highly qualified accredited orthopedic trauma fellowship-trained surgeon to complement its comprehensive trauma program. The position will serve in the Clinical-X series or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series with an academic rank commensurate with their experience and qualifications. The UC Davis Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is the premier surgical service provider in the greater Sacramento region and beyond and is based on the UC Davis Health campus in Sacramento, California. Sacramento is an easily accessible, family-oriented city in close proximity to the San Francisco Bay area, Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the California coast, and Napa Valley. EXPECTATIONS This position will provide inpatient and outpatient care at UC Davis Health. This position will also include the teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as participate in departmental meetings, conferences, hospital and departmental committees.
