Sterile Processing Tech II

Do you have a good eye for details?  Are you passionate for Healthcare and patient safety? Our Sterile Processing Team wants to add an experienced Certified Sterile Processing Tech to their diverse team. 

• 3:00 p.m. -  11:30 a.m., once you complete the 12-week department orientation
• Relocation Assistance for those living outside a 100-mile radius who have 2 years of sterile processing experience

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

Central Sterile Processing Department sterilizes the instruments for surgery and other departments and take cases to surgery.

Role Purpose

Function as a team member in the operating room to support medical and nursing staff during the pre, intra, and post-operative phase, including preparing equipment and supplies for use by the medical team, cleaning and sterilizing equipment and reusable supplies, assembling case carts/trays and performing direct patient care as needed.
