We have a great opportunity for an experienced VAT Manager to join our EMEA team here in London. As the EMEA VAT Manager, you will be the key team member in managing indirect tax compliance and advisory issues across EMEA. You will support Brokers with VAT issues on projects, oversee the outsourced VAT compliance process, and drive improvements in indirect tax processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

â¢Â Â   Develop, implement, and document indirect tax process improvements and controls.
â¢Â Â   Manage the relationship with the outsourced VAT compliance provider to ensure that VAT compliance is performed timely, accurately, and cost-effectively.
â¢Â Â   Review indirect tax filings.
â¢Â Â   Lead indirect tax dispute resolution.
â¢Â Â   Provide tax technical input on multi-country tenders and cross-border transactions.
â¢Â Â   Support indirect tax matters on M&A projects, group reorganisations, and other projects.
â¢Â Â   Provide VAT training to finance and non-finance professionals.
â¢Â Â   Mentor junior tax team members.
â¢Â Â   Oversee the CIS process.

Qualifications:

â¢Â Â   An appropriate accounting and/or tax qualification.
Knowledge & Experience:
â¢Â Â   Big-4 trained, preferred.
â¢Â Â   Minimum of five years of VAT-focused work experience.
â¢Â Â   Knowledge of agreeing and implementing partial exemption calculations.
â¢Â Â   Knowledge of VAT rules for international supplies of property services, preferred.
â¢Â Â   Experience in developing and improving end-to-end VAT processes and controls.
â¢Â Â   Ideally, experience with Workday.
â¢Â Â   A second European language is preferred.
