Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a full-time Newborn Hospitalist to join the Division of Neonatology, the largest division in the Department of Pediatrics. Newborn hospitalist responsibilities include:
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is one of the largest labor and delivery facilities in the country, averaging between 6,500-7,000 births annually, and is advancing an ambitious vision for children’s healthcare thanks to the generosity of the Shapell Guerin Family Foundation and its president, Vera Guerin. Propelled by this historic $100 million gift, Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s will fill a critical gap in care for young patients in Los Angeles and beyond, providing primary and specialty care for patients as they grow from newborns to adolescents to adults. In addition to current pediatric intensive care beds and neonatal intensive care beds, the hospital has renovated an inpatient space with 26 beds. Ophir Klein, MD, PhD, an internationally recognized innovator in pediatrics and genetics, has been named as the inaugural director of Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s, as well as the David and Meredith Kaplan Distinguished Chair in Children’s Health.
