Full Consideration Date: 09/06/2024Job Description: The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Accounting seeks applicants for a temporary Assistant Adjunct Professor to teach advanced income tax courses, starting in January 2025. Required Qualifications: Master's of Accountancy, MBA, related Master's degree in the area of specialization or a CPA or EA with significant work experience that warrants approval from accrediting bodies; demonstrated experience and expertise in the relevant field of entity taxation; and evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Preferred Qualifications: CPA, EA, or other related professional accounting or tax credential; record of excellence in teaching with evidence of a student-focused approach; and experience teaching tax courses preferred.
