Senior Content and Assessment Analyst

Position Summary For the position of Senior Content and Assessment Analyst, UCLA Recreation seeks an experienced, detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in needs assessment, analytical research, and writing successful financial proposals and funding requests for a Student Affairs organization. Under supervision, the incumbent will work with the Director to prepare communications, design and deliver assessments, using assessment data to build reports and presentations, participating in funding proposal design and creation, and other special projects as strategic priorities evolve. The successful candidate will support the UCLA Recreation Executive and Communications team by conceiving, researching, writing, editing, and publishing written materials and strategic communications while evaluating the specific needs of each department within the organization. Under limited supervision, they would work on projects as assigned by the Director, CAO, or other team leader. The types of content creation may include publications (internal and external), articles, press releases, op-eds, proposals, grants, promotional materials, talking points, FAQs, blogs, web copy, and social media posts, among others. The incumbent should have documented success in researching, positioning, writing, and securing grants and other funding requests for foundation, corporate, and university donors. The incumbent develops and provides materials and guidance to achieve divisional assessment and evaluation goals. Additionally, the incumbent synthesizes the results of department assessments, and the program evaluation cycle to produce reports summarizing the effectiveness and impact of Recreation and Student Affairs' services and programs. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
