Pharmacy Manager and 340B Compliance

Job Description General Summary Serves as an authoritative resource on pharmacy supply chain and 340B management. Oversee and control all aspects of pharmacy medication-related supply chain and medication-related financial management for the institution, including purchasing, inventory management, vendor management, group purchasing organization (GPO) and wholesaler relationships, standardization, supply-chain related information systems and technology, budget preparation and variance reporting. Incorporates supply chain and Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) best practices. Provides oversight of all aspects for the 340B Federal Drug Discount Program. Serves as subject matter expert regarding the 340B Program and oversees all uses of the split billing software. Provides oversight to the development and implementation of Pharmacy Services goals and objectives, policies, procedures, and budgets as they relate to Supply Chain and 340B. Qualifications * Education: Required: Bachelors or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy Preferred: PGY1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency with focus in 340B management; Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area or MBA Work Experience Required: Three (3) to Five (5) years of working experience as a pharmacist in an institutional setting. One (1) year prior experience with pharmacy inventory management and distribution systems Preferred: Experience supervising staff; prior experience in pharmacy supply chain and 340B management Licenses & Certifications Required: Current Maryland License (or eligible for licensure in the state of Maryland) Preferred: Advanced 340B Operations Certificate (340B ACE); Board certified through BCPS, Lean Six Sigma Certification Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
