Posted Job Title ULAR Husbandry Supervisor Job Profile Title Supervisor, Husbandry Job Description Summary Provides supervision of the daily husbandry in the animal facility including but not limited to the scheduling of work duties; supervision of work production and providing the husbandry with daily direction. Utilizing the quality performance worksheets the facility supervisor will review and perform quality assessments of husbandry personnel work performance throughout the facility. Interfaces with husbandry and investigator personnel to troubleshoot problems, issues and customer service concerns of a routine nature. Provides backup to the Polaris and ACT/Trainer to provide orientation and training for existing and new users of the facility and cage card and animal requisition management in Polaris. Responsible for reporting of routine maintenance items to Penn Facilities and ensuring they are placed in the maintenance log and the log is kept up to date. May act as the functional manager in absence of the manager. Previous supervisory experience preferred. 7:30-4:30 M-F (night, weekend, holiday (as needed) Job Description Job Responsibilities
