The Office of School and Community Engagement (OSCE) serves as a dynamic nexus connecting Penn's Graduate School of Education (GSE) and the school communities of the city of Philadelphia. Using a responsive partnership approach, the Office connects students and families, educators, school administrators, and community organizations with Penn GSE's expertise and resources. We aim to improve the educational outcomes and overall wellbeing of all members of Philadelphia schools and communities through equity-driven collaborations that promote high quality teaching, learning, and leadership. The Associate Director of Collaborative Partnerships, Engagement, and Inclusion will be instrumental in achieving the office's mission of serving as a dynamic nexus that connects Penn GSE to external partners, other schools within the university, and the surrounding community. This role will provide systems-level support, strengthen partnerships, and foster collaboration. The Associate Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance partnerships, boost engagement, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels. Acting as a liaison among key stakeholders-including the School District of Philadelphia, Penn GSE students, faculty, staff, alumni, and neighboring higher education institutions-the Associate Director will identify and leverage university resources to achieve the office's goals and advance Penn GSE's strategic plans. This position will also guide programmatic objectives that enhance cooperation among partners and offer strategic guidance to both internal and external collaborators. Key responsibilities include managing relationships with stakeholders, driving community engagement efforts, and ensuring office initiatives exemplify best practices in equity and inclusion. This position is contingent upon grant funding until June 30, 2029. Job Description Responsibilities Serve as Co-Director of a major multi-year, grant-funded project, providing leadership and administrative oversight for the project operations and major priorities in partnership with key stakeholders/partners to design and implement a new program supporting the School District of Philadelphia high school students.
Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships by strengthening strategic internal and external connections that bolster OSCE's capacity for impact through outreach to key constituents, including the School District of Philadelphia, GSE students, faculty and alumni, community leaders, philanthropic, non-profit, and corporate partners. Portfolio Strategy and Vision:
Maintaining up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of best/emerging practices in equity and inclusion, adult learning, and continuing and professional development for office initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications REQUIRED:

Job Location - City, State Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department / School Graduate School of Education Pay Range $51,824.00 - $88,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
