Job Title: BCAN Community Engagement Specialist Department: Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division: People, Belonging & Culture FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports to : Executive Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Work Schedule: 35 hours/week; 12 months/year Grade: 5 Hourly Range: $22.80 - $28.46 Summary of Essential Functions: The BCAN Community Engagement Manager is the lead storyteller, digital media content strategist, and relationship builder for the MICA Baltimore Creatives Acceleration Network, a city-wide initiative advancing the economic empowerment of Baltimore creatives by providing holistic and strategic entrepreneurship support. The position requires a driven, creative, and collaborative visionary with a strong voice for narrative building, attention to detail, and a distinct capacity for storytelling and community relations.
