Available Title(s): 1482-YN_ADMINPRO - Student Services Coordinator/Advisor 2 Business Title: Site Manager | Prosser High School & Mabton High School Employee Type: Admin. Professional (+) (Fixed Term) Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Site Manager represents the university as the primary liaison to our partner schools and their communities, implementing GEAR-UP goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, university, and grant regulations. This position is responsible for the strategic planning, administration, and direct support of the WSU Tri-Cities GEAR_UP project at designated schools. The Site Manager provides services to a cohort of at least 200 students and manages an operating budget of $250,000 annually. They will also supervise 1 FTE or less. This position will provide support to key program components, including tutor training and supervision, career exploration, and post-secondary preparation. GEAR-UP provides an intense program during the school year for early outreach high school students in the partnering districts. Duties include but are not limited to: providing direct outreach services to students; planning, preparation and leadership participation of group activities and seminars; coordinate and communicate with school administrators, teachers, staff, parents, students, area colleges, community members, organizations and businesses; provide local leadership in program evaluation; collect data documenting accomplishments and future needs; develop recommendations to improve program effectiveness. This position will have split work locations at Prosser High School and Mabton High School. Required Qualifications:

Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
