Area Coordinator About the Opportunity Position Summary Under the direction of the Assistant/Director of Housing and Residential Life, the Area Coordinator (AC) position is a 12-month full-time live-in staff member critical to the development, management, and oversight of assigned residential communities/areas including supervision of Resident Assistants, full-time Community Assistant, supporting Living Learning communities and other programs, serving on departmental committees, and the creation of a residential community conducive to the social and intellectual growth of our students. ACs are responsible for creating a climate that supports student success, personal development, and high levels of resident engagement. ACs will also support summer assignments related to conferences and events, summer session housing, and new student orientation. Due to the nature of the position, ACs are expected to work outside of traditional business hours including participation in an on-call duty rotation. Responsibilities often extend into weekend and evening/early morning hours. Responsibilities Include: Staff Supervision & Development

The hiring salary for this position is $70,210.20.
