The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Incite Institute cultivates public intelligence concerning socially and culturally vital ideas that can be advanced by research, education, and conversation at the interdisciplinary seams that the social sciences share with the humanities, the sciences, and one another. At INCITE, we produce knowledge for public action by joining with people and organizations within and outside Columbia University to rethink our understanding of what knowledge is, how is created, and how it can be used. The Financial Assistant will report to the Director of Administration and Finance. The incumbent will support the day-to-day administrative and financial operations at the different INCITE office locations. The Financial Assistant will maintain the office equipment and supplies, and will ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
