Scheduled Hours37.5Position SummaryThe Administrative Coordinator for the Digital Transformation initiative will be an integral team member in the universityâ™s strategic plan, Here and Next. In this newly created position, the Administrative Coordinator will be a part of Digital Intelligence & Innovation (DI2) Accelerator.The DI2 Accelerator serves as an interdisciplinary academic and scholarly hub for computation and data science focused on research and innovation, education and workforce development, and strategic partnerships. The impact of this work will: - Amplify and accelerate the activities of researchers and innovators working in prioritized digital domains; - Embed digital competencies into teaching and learning at all levels; - Create, apply, understand, and share digital technologies and methods that address current and emergent societal and economic problems, while preparing a workforce that can extend these efforts beyond academic norms; The ideal candidate is forward-thinking, able to support senior leaders through thoughtful anticipation of potential difficulties, and timely and appropriate responses, as needed. This coordinator will report directly to the Manager of Financial Operations. DI2 Accelerator leadership is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive work environment. We prioritize the health and wellbeing of our employees, continuing the practices established during the COVID-19 pandemic. While we support a flexible work environment that balances in-person collaboration with hybrid work opportunities when appropriate, this role typically requires 2-3 days of on-site presence each week. However, due to the nature of events supported by this role, on-site requirements may vary, with some weeks necessitating up to 5 days on-site and others requiring different levels of on-site support.
