Additional focus for this position is to steward scholarship donors so they know the impact of their gifts and are inspired and motivated to give more through impact reporting and creating unique acknowledgment pieces. | Minimum Requirements | Bachelor’s degree is required and a minimum of two years’ related experience in scholarship management, donor relations, development, or alumni relations. Understanding of the College’s scholarship process is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. | Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Keen organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner. Demonstrated focus on details, quality assurance and results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals, from students to upper administration and donors. Ability to treat financial and other personal data with confidentiality and discretion. Must be a self-starter and work independently. University Advancement experience and working knowledge of Raisers Edge, BlackBaud Award Management and Banner databases are strongly preferred. Experience with TargetX, Salesforce, Slate, Fire Engine Red, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics may also be useful. Includes serving as customer support for 15 – 17 school-based scholarship liaisons and 70+ faculty who administer/review scholarships plus approximately 2,500 students who use the system to apply for scholarships. With Funds Manager, reconciles recipient reports with scholarship budgets to identify unused funds and work with schools/units to spend all allotted scholarship funds each fiscal year.
