Transfer Coordinator & Academic Counselor, Department of Athletics

Job Description Summary Provides academic counseling and support in areas of course oversight, registration procedures, progress toward degree requirements, and career planning for student-athletes in designated sports within Wake Forest University. Responsible for coordinating the athletics admissions screening process and ensuring that all NCAA eligibility requirements and Wake Forest University admission requirements for transfer prospective student-athletes are met.

Accountabilities Reports weekly to the Sr. Associate AD/ Director of Student-Athlete Services. Accountable for adhering to ACC, NCAA and Wake Forest policies and regulations. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Education, Experience, Training Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-5 years experience at the Division I level in Compliance, University Admissions, or University Registrar’s Office.
Masters degree or experience in NCAA Division I campus athletics compliance office preferred.
