SANE Coordination Program Manager
Washington State Department of Health
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of sexual assault survivors? Do you thrive in roles where leadership, program management, and public health come together to drive impactful change?
As the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) Coordination Program Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring access to survivor-centered, trauma-informed forensic evidence collection and medical care after a sexual assault. You will lead a team of two public health nurse consultants and collaborate with multiple agencies, partners, and stakeholders to implement this vital program.
Why This Job Matters This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of survivors across Washington. By ensuring access to high-quality forensic care and trauma-informed practices, you will help strengthen the overall health system response to sexual assault. Your work will enhance the availability of services that provide crucial medical care and support for survivors, while also contributing to public health solutions that address gender-based violence, sex trafficking, and other forms of trauma.
As the SANE Coordination Program Manager, you will directly influence how hospitals, advocacy organizations, and local communities come together to support those affected by sexual violence. Your efforts will help remove barriers, improve access to care, and ensure that survivors receive the best possible medical and emotional support during a critical time in their recovery.
