Dispensary & Sterilization Assistant

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years service oriented experience in fast paced environment.
• Competent with computer key board; computer data entry skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two year college degree or completion of some college course work. 
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments and materials. 
• Thorough knowledge of instrument sterlization procedures and equipment.
• Understanding of OSHA protocols

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and independantly. Competent at handling many tasks efficiently. Must be professional, cheerful, courteous, and pleasant with the ability to provide consistent quality service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 20 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to move around the work area freely.

Work Environment

• Working with dental instruments which are sharp and must be handleded cautiously. Using machines designed to disinfect and sterilize dental insturments. The machines use water and heat. 
• The employees in this area provide service and supplies to a large variety of individuals.

Salary/Pay Information

Commensurate with experience

Anticipated Schedule

Monday – Friday  Some weekends required  40 hours per week; hours vary
