Description

The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for processing and servicing a variety of operational, personnel, and financial transactions and services. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: cashiering, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, recharge billing, travel / entertainment, gift accounting, collections, data collection and data entry, analysis, review and control, customer servicing, and reporting.

UCLA Health annual salary range for this position is $68,800.00 - $141,000.00.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial transactions and financial systems.
  • Proficiency in use of spreadsheet and database software.
  • Interpersonal skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment, organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and manage staff time/efforts accordingly.
  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
