Job DescriptionMontgomery College, Germantown Campus, has an immediate need for a full-time Instructional Lab Coordinator for the Science and Engineering and Technology department. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a Bargaining, non-exempt, grade 27 position. For non-exempt positions, you are not eligible to work a secondary job at Montgomery College. Under general supervision and/or direction, coordinate the daily operations and activities of the assigned instructional laboratory. Provide technical assistance to students and faculty performing research and accessing instructional resources. Verify equipment setup and proper operation. Demonstrate learning, scientific, and technical principles through classroom experiments. The work involves setting up and organizing work areas for classroom instruction and coordinating with and providing instructional assistance services to faculty. Plan activities, order and pick up supplies and materials, maintain the facility, check/maintain equipment, and schedule student assistants and/or staff in order to meet instructional objectives. The incumbent follows specific guidelines developed by the faculty/supervisor in providing instructional support in the laboratory. Essential Functions

Licenses and Certifications OSHA training or knowledge of OSHA laboratory standards may be required. Preferred Qualifications: A+, Security+, CEH certifications. Hiring Range: $30.47 to $39.60.
