DepartmentHospitality, Tourism & EventsThe School of Hospitality at Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and meticulously organized Recruitment and Retention Specialist to be the ambassador for the School of Hospitality within our community. Reporting directly to the Director of Student Services and Operations, the Recruitment and Retention Specialist will play a pivotal role in boosting enrollment at the School of Hospitality through strategic recruitment and retention initiatives aimed at fostering student success. By effectively implementing the college's recruitment and retention strategies, the incumbent will spearhead the following key responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities: Student Recruitment Efforts (60%)
Student Retention and Completion Strategies (20%)
Academic Advising Support (15%)

Salary for Announcement: Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41,200 - $51,500.The full salary range is $41,200 - $61,800. This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits. Work Hours: Monday " Friday, 8:00 am " 5:00 pm. Given the nature of the role, flexibility is required for on-campus, in-person, and on-site visits to high schools, community colleges, and other recruitment event venues. Remote work may be available for up to one or two days per week. Some evening or weekend work may be necessary. This position necessitates reliable transportation within the Denver Metro area, including locations with limited transit service.
