Department Enrollment ServicesJob Summary
Under general supervision, provides support to the Enrollment Services department including data entry into the State CBMS system and Denver Health systems. Scan all incoming mail into appropriate email inboxes for Enrollment Specialists to update client medical assistance cases. Send out returned client correspondence to appropriate address. Provide customer service to enrollment clients, including answering questions regarding program requirements and documentation needed to enroll into the appropriate programs.
Essential Functions:
- Promotes positive interpersonal relationships with fellow employees, physicians, patients and visitors. Treats all individuals with courtesy, dignity, empathy, and respect; consistently displays courteous and respectful verbal and non-verbal communications. (10%)
- Scans all documents received via email, fax, walk-in, and mail into Onbase system. (10%)
- Makes outgoing calls to clients to verify addresses. (10%)
- Collects case files in response to internal and external audit requests. (10%)
- Compiles and completes various reports. (10%)
- Research client data in State CBMS system as well as entering case comments. (10%)
- Completes all duties and responsibilities in a non-discriminatory manner regardless of age group(s), cultures, religions, gender, race, and sexual orientation of the patients/clients to whom service is being provided. (10%)
- Attends all department related meetings, trainings, and coaching. (10%)

- Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with the Denver Health Dress Code policy. (5%)
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance in accordance with the Denver Health Attendance policy. (5%)
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience with customer service Required
Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of medical and/or public assistance programs including Medicaid, CHP+, CICP, DFAP, and Connect of Health Colorado health plans.
- Knowledge of the eligibility determination system CBMS.
- Skilled in analytical thinking, problem solving, and process improvement.
- Skilled in providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a thorough, clear, and professional manner.
- Ability to simultaneously coordinate and manage several functions, programs, and tasks in various stages of completion.
- Ability to consistently implement program, department and organizational policies and procedures.
- Ability to work well in teams and independently to get projects done, and to work with those at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Bilingual preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of CBMS and Epic systems.
