Job Summary The Director of Supplier Quality & Audit Compliance oversees Supplier Quality and Audit Compliance operations within Cardinal Health, including overseeing Supplier Qualification, Monitoring and Maintenance activities. This job also oversees all supplier auditing, internal auditing, and inspection readiness activities.
Responsibilities - Oversees department operations with supervision of managers and professional employees.
- Develops process strategies to improve efficiencies and achieve specific goals.
- Partners with functional leaders on strategic improvements and communication
- Develops policies and procedures to ensure supplier qualification, monitoring and maintenance activities are completed in accordance with all requirements, including management of the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Partners with the supplier quality leadership in the manufacturing sites to monitor SCAR and SCR activities, providing support where needed.
- Responsible for supplier scorecards and developing actionable metrics related to supplier performance.
- Oversees auditing process and audit teams, including the Supplier Audit program and the Internal Audit program compliant with all applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
- Develops and implements an inspection readiness and support program to ensure ongoing audit-readiness.
- Supports global R&D activities ensuring that proper compliance guidelines are in place and being followed.
- Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to departmental operations and/or projects.
- Gains consensus from various parties involved.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in leading strategic supplier quality audit and compliance initiatives preferred.
- Lead Auditor experience highly preferred.
- Medical Device, Aerospace, or Nuclear industry experience highly preferred
- Bachelor?s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel 20% as needed.
