Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications. Responsibilities - Act as a Solution Owner responsible to manage project funding, scope, and deliverables by working closely with Cardinal Health Project Management Office.
- Manage relationships with the Medical business leaders in operations, distribution, and other user groups.
- Build relationships and to work seamlessly with project managers, vendors and business leads.
- Understand product development business requirements and work to achieve the scalable solutions in various software platforms. Provide technical guidance and lead medium to high effort enhancement/build projects.
- Collaborate with software teams like EDI, TPM and 3PL customers, and act as a technical SME/liaison by understanding the application architecture, schema and existing or future interfaces, application enhancements and projects.
- Partner with EIT shared services teams to identify, plan and execute POCs and projects.
- Create, plan, and execute T-Minus plans by collaborating with all the interface and shared services teams.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps team, managed services partners on implementing DevSecOps practices.
- Responsible for 3PL and Strategic Stock Solution (customer owned inventory) application suite journey towards making it user friendly, resilient, and simple for our 3PL partners.
- Responsible for LMS (Labor Management System) application suite development and implementation.
- Manage priorities between the projects, meet project aligned expectations on scope, quality, schedule, and budget of project.
- Act as technical lead/mentor on team to provide skill uplift to junior team members.
- Provide hyper care support and build to run transition, lessons learnt documentation for the projects implemented.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Ability to define work processes and lead team members in successful implementation and ongoing execution preferred
- Proven experience managing large cross functional IT projects preferred
- Strong understanding and experience with data analysis with Excel or other tools preferred
- Understanding business & IT requirements and translating them into actionable work manually and then driving automation of the work preferred
- Background in IT technologies and concepts including networks, databases, middleware, interfaces, and applications preferred
- Experience in leading SaaS integration projects is preferred
- Experience in integration architecture and patterns including integration via APIs/google pub/sub is preferred
- Integration experience with Manhattan WMS/LMS system is preferred.
- Medical Warehouse experience or an IT project management background preferred
- Previous Warehouse Management System experience preferred
- SAP ERP experience preferred
- AIMS (Automated Inventory Management System) experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently verbally and written with IT personnel, consultants, and other company personnel preferred
