Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives. This job family assesses product systems, identifies opportunities for process and system improvements, and develops solutions through application of engineering principles. Responsibilities - Manage software development process for business critical and growth initiatives
- Establish relationships and partner with product management, business, and technology teams
- A think outside the box, innovative and product development mindset
- Proven successful software delivery and execution experience
- Ability to be flexible to deal with ambiguity and add clarity
- Ability to easily pivot as needed and quickly make changes to move forward
- Manages the technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks utilized by the organization?s application solutions.
- Ensures development of estimates and aligns estimates with IT teams to obtain commitment
Qualifications - Proven track record leading multiple simultaneous initiatives, teams and solution ownership
- Experience developing customer-facing software solutions
- Knowledge of technologies used in healthcare solutions and pharmacy management systems
- Knowledge of shipping solutions
- Proven experience working effectively with third-party vendors to deliver technology solutions
- Demonstrated effective leadership of high performing team
- Working knowledge of multiple SDLC and techniques including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
- Ability to develop individuals and teams preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
- Bachelor?s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- 8+ years of experience in related field preferred
