Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm What Production Set-up and Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Responsibilities: Order Materials and move pallets from the line to the next process of production Assign resources to the appropriate line operators for schedule attainment Resolve and sign off on weekly 5S audit reports Back up on daily shift reports Drive cleaning audits for each line Obtaining rework instructions, training all staff on rework instructions and providing supervisors with a copy of the sign in sheet for financial tracking purposes Back up supervisor on the shift report if the need arises Monitor WIP inventory for product codes on the weekly schedule (bins, pallets, totes, etc) Escalate mechanical and electrical issues to the appropriate person or the supervisor Monitor weekly progress and bring any issues to the attention of the supervisor Monitor machine cleaning and housekeeping activities for effectiveness Conduct proper shift handoff meeting with incoming Team Leader Specialist Drive a Safety Culture, covering safety cross information, safety topics, and escalating unsafe conditions Drive a Quality Culture, spot checking logs for GMP/GDP, signing off on DHR's, assuring the manufacturing associates are fully trained prior to operating machinery Hold people accountable, maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, 5S, and good housekeeping practices
Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience preferred High School Diploma or GED preferred Prior manufacturing experience preferred
