| Visitation Academy is an independent Catholic school offering a coeducational Montessori program in Grades Toddler through Kindergarten and an all-girl environment in Grades 1 through 12. Visitation Academy is the ministry of the Sisters of the Visitation, whose way of life expresses the spirituality of the founders of their Order, St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal. These saints encouraged all to “Live Jesus” with kindness, gentleness, humility, and thoughtful concern for others. Visitation is seeking a full-time, on-site accountant. The accountant will be responsible for processing all cash receipts including cash, credit card, and electronic payments. The accountant will manage all aspects of the tuition collection database and be an integral part of the student enrollment /re-enrollment process. Candidates should possess strong accounting experience, general knowledge of non-profit accounting principles, and an accounting degree. Candidates should also have strong analytical, organizational, collaborative, and communication skills and respect for confidential information. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word and experience with Blackbaud is a plus. Candidates must be able to support the Catholic mission of the school.
