The College Advancement Coordinator for Parent & Family Engagement and the McAndrews Fund for Athletics, reporting to the Director of Parent & Family Engagement and the Director of the McAndrews Fund for Athletics, works collaboratively with multiple teams within the division and provides necessary support to meet yearly engagement and fundraising goals. The coordinator will manage the day-to-day operational duties of the Parent & Family Engagement and the McAndrews Fund staff in a fast-paced office setting. The coordinator manages multiple projects, works with technology and data processes and provides excellent customer service to Dickinson's alumni, parents and friends of the college.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate the planning and maintenance of the communication calendar which includes solicitation mailings, data requests, print and mail procedures, donor event logistic needs and other calendar- specific details. Serve as point person for Parent & Family Engagement and McAndrews Fund solicitation mailings and liaison with Marketing and Communications for appeal due dates, request dates, circulation of draft edits and other production specifics.
Oversee and manage the project management software used for Parent & Family Engagement and the McAndrews Fund for Athletics. Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all tasks and milestones are clearly defined, tracked and completed on time.
Provide support and assist in planning for events such as (but not limited to) new student receptions, Homecoming and Family Weekend, Alumni Weekend, Hall of Fame, Red and White Day and Commencement. Attendance at in-person events includes occasional evenings and weekends.
Provide excellent customer service and support through the department phone lines, email accounts and at on-campus programs. Monitor parents@dickinson.edu email account and social media for Dickinson families (ex. Parents Facebook page).
Support the Parent & Family Engagement and McAndrews Fund team through managing and scheduling meetings, creating agendas and meeting minutes and coordinating travel as needed.
Support the Parent & Family Engagement and McAndrews Fund team by reconciling monthly credit card statements, billings, and budget reports needed for program management.
